Based on a resolution from October 2021, the city of Friedberg is building a new construction depot on a property area of around 26,000 square meters. In addition to floor areas for administration, workshops and storage areas, road salt silos and space for new bulk goods warehouses will also be created. After a year of construction, the nine bulk goods halls have already been built and have lockable gates.
In collaboration with a regional gate and door manufacturer, the halls were fitted with high-quality wooden gates.
The sliding fittings from MEA Metal Applications GmbH were used to ensure the flow of movement of the gates, which have a weight of up to 300 kg per gate. A total of 34 rods each with a 6 meter running tube no. 3, 32 connecting sleeves and 78 double rollers with a load capacity of 300 kg each were installed. The sliding fittings products are all galvanized and, due to their quality and nature, offer a long service life and freedom from maintenance for the individual parts, which is guaranteed even if they are moved several times. The wear and tear on the rolling devices is low, which ensures that the construction depot in Friedberg has a long service life for the products installed, no matter how frequently the gates are opened and closed.
