A total of 7 tons of gratings are installed per ship by the Sietas shipyard in Hamburg. Gratings of all sizes and shapes form the steel network of stairs and platforms on which the ship’s crew moves around.
With the new construction of the grandstands at the ski stadium in Oberstdorf, the capacity was doubled to 27,000 spectators. Practically the entire standing and seating area (approx. 3,000 m²) of the grandstands was equipped with gratings.
