Steel rollers

Steel rollers are used wherever gates – especially large, sliding gates – are moved: at the entrances to industrial premises, factory or warehouse buildings, private properties, etc. First and foremost, these gates must open and close smoothly and easily. Thanks to MEA steel rollers guided from below, even heavy gates run effortlessly just like on railway tracks. No jerking, no jolting – in short, perfect motion!

Steel rollers are used for gates which are guided from below. They represent a low-cost alternative to cantilever gates if only occasional opening and closing is required. They need virtually no maintenance and are built to last for several decades.

MEA manufactures steel rollers in two different designs:

• Rollers with a single bearing
• Rollers with two bearings
• The rollers with a single bearing are capable of carrying up to 500 kg each.
• The two-bearing version has a loading capacity of 750 kg.
